I headed over to the Huston's last week for what was to be another new experience for me in the world of photography- a group of 16! I had the shoot all worked out in my mind before I arrived, had most of my new-challenge jitters calmed just enough to give me a little extra energy, and was ready to put my plan into action. First lesson learned: when it comes to a large group with several young children, things aren't likely to go as planned. I was hoping to get the large group shot done first, before the little ones lost their patience with smiling for the camera, then do some smaller family shots. But with people in varying states of readiness, sleeping babies, latecomers, and dog poop incidents, I found I had to just go with the flow. And in the end, I think we got some great stuff!
Thank you, Carol, Murphy, and all the rest of your beautiful family!
