Hello, again! Though I've happily been shooting away for the past several months, between the full-time job narrating audio books, new shoots and edits, and my lovely family, I've completely neglected this blog. But I'm back - with happy news! Kristina and Richard got married! And I actually got the nerve up to photograph it. My first wedding! I have been extremely reluctant until now to say yes to such a task, largely because of fear. It's such an important day! What if something goes wrong? What if I forget something, lose something, break something, trip over something, sweat profusely? That fear has even provoked me, more than once, to say that ridiculous word, "never." So, needless to say, when asked in the past if I could photograph someone's wedding, my answer has been, "Thank you. No." But this time, it was just time to say, "yes."
I've known Kristina for quite some time and was able to be frank with her about my feelings. We met for a beer and a chat, and once she gave me the details about the small ceremony, I even started to get excited! A courthouse wedding - perfect!
Kristina and Richard got married on a perfect late-spring afternoon in the Supreme Court Courtroom in a beautiful new building here in Denver. I can't thank them enough for trusting me with this.

Congratulations, Kristina and Richard! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
